LONDON (Alliance News) - Beowulf Mining PLC on Wednesday said it has awarded mining industry consultant CSA Global Pty Ltd and engineering company Poyry Finland Oy contracts to work on its Aitolampi graphite project in Finland.
CSA Global agreed to prepare a mineral resource estimate, the mineral exploration and development company said, which will be led by Andrew Scogings.
Beowulf said geologist Scogings has more than 25 years' experience in industrial minerals exploration, product development, and sales management.
Meanwhile, Poyry will prepare an environmental & social impact assessment roadmap, Beowulf said.
Poyry, Beowulf said, has "extensive" knowledge of the mining industry and knowledge of international environmental and social performance criteria and added it has participated in most mining projects in Finland during the past few years.
Shares in Beowulf Mining were trading 4.7% higher at 7.33 pence per share on Wednesday.
