Benchmark Holdings Finance Chief Plampin To Step Down From Role

9th Jul 2019 12:24

(Alliance News) - Benchmark Holdings PLC said Tuesday that Chief Financial Officer Mark Plampin will step down from his role, with effect once a successor is appointed to allow for an orderly transition process.

Plampin has been in the role at the aquaculture genetics firm for nine years since 2010, and prior to that was part of accountancy firm network PKF International Ltd as partner from 2004 to 2010.

Benchmark has started an external search for a successor.

"On behalf of the board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark for his considerable contribution during his time with the group and wish him every success in the future. We have begun the search for his successor and look forward to updating on progress and ensuring a smooth handover of duties in due course," said Chair Peter George.

Shares in Benchmark Holdings were up 2.0% at 51.50 pence on Tuesday.
