LONDON (Alliance News) - Bellzone Mining PLC on Friday said it has appointed Julian Hong Lum Cheong as its permanent chief executive officer with immediate effect, eight months after the company named Cheong as its interim chief executive.
Bellzone Mining said its shareholders passed a resolution at its annual general meeting on Friday to appoint Cheong to the position permanently, having previously said he would take over on an interim basis until a permanent replacement could be found last October.
The company said Cheong would also continue to hold the position of chief financial officer.
Shares in Bellzone Mining were up 9.2% at 0.183 pence on Thursday.
