LONDON (Alliance News) - Property developer Bellway PLC on Friday said it has appointed its current Chief Operating Officer Jason Honeyman as chief executive to replace incumbent Ted Ayres.
Ayres, who has been on leave since August last year due to illness, will be leaving the firm on Tuesday next week.
Current Executive Chairman John Watson, who has been fulfilling the role since Ayres took his leave of absence, will revert back to his old role of non-executive chairman next Wednesday, the same day Honeyman begins his new role as CEO.
However, Bellway also said Watson will be leaving the board at the company's annual general meeting this December 12, and he will be succeeded as non-executive chairman by current Non-Executive Director Paul Hampden Smith.
Bellway shares were 0.4% lower on Friday afternoon at a price of 2,896.00 pence each.
