Belgravium Says First Half Results To Be Hit By Contract Delay

28th May 2015 08:03

LONDON (Alliance News) - Belgravium Technologies PLC on Thursday said it has secured a recent order for mobile systems but said delays to the contract will hit its first-half results.

The mobile computing services company said it recently secured a GBP1.2 million order from Certas Energy, the UK-based fuel and lubricant distributor, to supply and install mobile systems on its petrochemical delivery fleet in England and Wales. The initial GBP1.2 million will be paid in the 2015 financial year, with a further recurring annual software licence and managed service fee to be received from thereon, with a further roll out to Certas' Scottish fleet potentially to happen in 2016.

But, as the order had been expected in the first quarter of 2015, trading in the first half of 2015 has been weaker than expected for Belgravium, the company said. As a result, revenue and profit in the first half will be lower than expected, and 2015 will be heavily second-half weighted.

Shares in Belgravium were down 14% to 4.825 pence on Thursday morning.
