BCA Marketplace Says Trading In Line As Revenue, Auction Volumes Rise

LONDON (Alliance News) - BCA Marketplace PLC on Thursday said its revenue and earnings have both improved in its current financial year.

BCA, which operates the British Car Auctions brand and which listed in London in April, said its adjusted earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation were GBP23.0 million from April 2 to date, in line with its expectations.

Revenue rose 18% to GBP243.4 million as the number of units sold at auction increased to 274,300. The group said the second quarter of its financial year, which ends in March 2016, has shown improved trading compared to the first.

BCA shares were up 1.8% to 173.50 pence on Thursday.
