LONDON (Alliance News) - BATM Advanced Communications Ltd on Thursday said its Pathogenic Waste Treatment and Sterilisation unit has won its first agricultural sector contract.
The deal, with an unnamed poultry farmer based in Israel, will be worth an initial USD1.5 million and would be worth up to USD7.5 million to the company over the next two yaers.
Under the terms of the agreement, BATM will install its Integrated Steriliser and Shredder technology at the company's poultry processing site.
"We are delighted that we are continuing to find new and significant applications for the unique technology that we have developed with the ISS. With our recent contract win in the pharmaceutical industry, this first major award in the agricultural sector strengthens our position for further success and expansion with ecologic-based projects," said BATM Chief Executive Zvi Marom.
