LONDON (Alliance News) - BATM Advanced Communications Ltd on Monday said its subsidiary Telco Systems has agreed to run its virtualised platform, optimised for Arm-based infrastructure products, on the NFVTime solution.
ARM Holdings is a British multinational semiconductor and software design company owned by SoftBank Group.
NFVTime solution allows additional virtual network functions to be added remotely.
The real-time technology company said the contract was signed with Clavister, a cybersecurity solutions company.
As part of the partnership, Clavister's virtualised cybersecurity platform will be available as a virtual network functions service running on the operating system of BATM's NFVTime solution that can turn any commercial Intel, or Arm, hardware device into a fully operational virtual networking device.
"This partnership enriches our telecoms network virtualisation offering with the addition of Clavister's high-performance cybersecurity solutions," said BATM Chief Executive Zvi Marom.
"Clavister's Arm-based security platform will be embedded in the heart of virtualisation, IoT and automotive solutions, while partnering with Telco Systems will further strengthen our ability to execute our growth strategy in the telco sector," added Clavister CEO John Vestberg.
BATM shares were trading 3.5% lower on Monday midday at 45.00 pence each.
