LONDON (Alliance News) - BATM Advanced Communications Ltd on Thursday said its cyber security subsidiary Celare has secured a contract to be the sole supplier of a cyber security platform to an unnamed government defence ministry.
The contract is worth an initial USD3.7 million, but BATM expects this to rise to USD10 million by 2017, with a total value of around USD20 million over the next five years.
"We are delighted to have been chosen to deliver this contract. Our selection as sole supplier by this government, after facing tough competition and satisfying extensive technological requirements, reflects the superiority of our offer," said Zvi Marom, BATM's chief executive.
BATM shares were up 8.3% in early trade to 16.38 pence, one of the best performers in the London Main Market.
