BATM Advanced Communications Wins USD4 Million Defence Contract

6th Apr 2016 06:46

LONDON (Alliance News) - BATM Advanced Communications Ltd on Wednesday said its Networking and Cyber Division has won a contract worth around USD4 million over a period of up to three years.

The contract is to provide an information communication technology product, combined with several cyber elements, to an undisclosed government defence department.

It will begin supplying the product in the third quarter of 2016 for up to three years. As the customer has the option to increase the remit of the project during that period, BATM believes revenue generated under the contract could potentially be "substantially higher".

"We are delighted that our solution has been chosen by another major customer. It is recognition of our ability to deliver a state-of-the-art much needed solution that has been tried and tested over a period of years. Demand for our technology continues to grow from other governments as well as several different agencies and we are involved in several Proof of Concept programmes that we believe may materialise into similar contracts," said Chief Executive Officer Zvi Marom in a statement.
