LONDON (Alliance News) - BATM Advanced Communications Ltd said its subsidiary Telco Systems has supplied a 10 gigabit ethernet product to an undisclosed telecommunications service provider in Southeast Asia.
This follows on from a previous contract with the customer. Under this latest contract, BATM said it has provided hundreds of its T-Marc 3348 devices to allow the customer to expand its network capacity to 10 gigabit ethernet.
By expanding its network capacity in this way the customer will be able to support more broadband traffic and offer higher quality services, BATM said, and this will also help the customer to comply with the latest industry standards.
No financial details on the contract were disclosed.
"We are proud to have been awarded this project extension with an existing Tier 1 customer, which is testament to our successful delivery of a previous contract and furthers our stated strategy of focusing on expanding our Tier 1 client base," said Chief Executive Officer Zvi Marom in a statement.
