LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology company BATM Advanced Communications Ltd on Monday proposed the appointment of two new external directors.
On November 28, the company will hold its annual general meeting, at which shareholders will be asked to vote on the appointment of Ari Shamiss and Varda Shalev as external directors for a period of three years.
Shamiss and Shalev will be replacing Avigdor Shafferman and Orna Pollack respectively, whose three-year tenures as external directors are expiring and will retire from the board.
Shamiss is currently chief executive officer of Assuta Medical Centers, a network of eight hospitals and medical centres in Israel.
Shalev is currently a director of the Morris Kahn & Maccabi Institute for Health Research & Innovation.
BATM shares were trading up 4.4% at 43.01 pence each.
