LONDON (Alliance News) - Base Resources Limited Tuesday said it has commenced ore processing through its mining unit and wet concentrator at the Kwale Project in Kenya.
The ore-mining company said that following two weeks of water commissioning and control logic testing, the first ore from its central dune at the site has been received.
The company said it now plans to ramp up and stockpile concentrate ahead of its commissioning of a mineral-separation plant to increase operational efficiency.
Base Resources said the mineral-separation plant and a marine facility are scheduled for completion in November, well ahead of the company's first bulk shipment.
Base Resources shares were down 3.2% to 21.05 pence Tuesday.
