(Alliance News) - Baronsmead Venture Trust PLC on Friday said it has closed its subscription offer.
Baronsmead is a London-based investment firm, which focuses on early-stage UK companies.
In December, Baronsmead Venture Trust, together with Baronsmead Second Venture Trust PLC, announced plans to raise GBP40 million via a subscription. It also included the discretion to utilise over-allotment facilities to raise up to a further GBP10 million.
In February, the company said it intends to utilise the over-allotment facility and that it had made applications to raise up to an additional GBP5 million under the facility.
On Friday, Baronsmead said the offer is now fully subscribed.
Baronsmead shares were untraded at 54.50 pence each in London on Friday.
