LONDON (Alliance News) - Baron Oil PLC Monday said production has now resumed at the Nancy 1 well in the Nancy Burdine Maxine oil field in Colombia and production is gradually increasing to the 400 barrels of oil per day target for the site.
The group also said maintenance work is due to start on the Acae River Bridge this week, which may result in short periods when the bridge is temporarily closed. Baron said it does not expect these closures to impact it export trucking and expects the Nancy Burdine Maxine field to continue producing uninterrupted while the work takes place.
Shares in Baron were up 11.1% to 1.00 pence on Monday morning, one of the best performers in the London Main Market.
