LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile payments company Bango PLC on Thursday said it has implemented its Direct Carrier Billing platform for Google Play with Idea Cellular, the Indian mobile operator.
The platform will allow Android users in India to charge purchases made in the Google Play store to their phone bills.
"Taking Google Play carrier billing to India is a major milestone for Bango. India offers enormous potential for online commerce," said Bango Chief Executive Ray Anderson.
Bango shares were up 9.3% to 47.00 pence Thursday.
