LONDON (Alliance News) - Balfour Beatty PLC Wednesday said its US construction services business has won a USD116 million, or GBP70 million, contract to build a new comprehensive high school in Denton, Texas, building on a relationship that has seen it build 49 educational facilities in Denton and neighbouring towns over the past 14 years.
This 50th contract involves the construction of a high school with the capacity for 2,400 students and the potential to grow further. It is scheduled to be completed in 2016, Balfour said in a statement.
