13th Feb 2020 14:53

(Alliance News) - Tailoring firm Bagir Group Ltd said Thursday that Non-Executive Chair Tessa Laws will resign from her role with effect on May 31.

Shares in Bagir - which is based in Kiryat Gat, Israel - were 12% higher at 0.59 pence on Thursday in London.

Laws has been in her role for five years since 2015, and has been part of the company itself for six years since 2014, starting as non-executive director.

Bagr said it has started a formal recruitment process to find a new chair.

"On behalf of the board and the company I would like to thank Tessa for her involvement on the board and commitment to the company since she joined in 2014," said Chief Executive Officer Micha Ronen.
