LONDON (Alliance News) - Defence contractor BAE Systems PLC on Tuesday was awarded a USD75.0 million five-year contract with the US Army to provide geospatial intelligence technical and analytical support.
The contract, awarded by the US Army Intelligence & Security Command, will see BAE work on exploiting and processing geospatial data and developing intelligence products for the INSCOM Military Intelligence Brigade.
"We are proud to support the development of solutions that enhance the situational awareness and safety of our men and women in uniform," said BAE's DeEtte Gray, president of its Intelligence & Security unit.
BAE shares were up 0.6% to 497.5p on Tuesday.
