LONDON (Alliance News) - The UK government Tuesday confirmed that BAE Systems PLC has won a GBP348 million contract to build offshore patrol vessels for the Royal Navy at the company's shipyards in Glasgow.
The vessels will be built at BAE's Clyde shipyards in Scotland, safeguarding around 800 jobs according to the Ministry of Defence.
