LONDON (Alliance News) - Defence contractor BAE Systems PLC on Friday said it will raise a total of USD1.5 billion through a three-tranche bond issue for be used for general corporate purposes.
The issue is split between GBP500.0 million in 2020 notes, GBP750.0 million in 2025 notes and USD250.0 million in 2045 notes.
The net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including paying down debt, BAE said.
Shares in BAE were down 0.6% to 506.00 pence on Friday morning.
