LONDON (Alliance News) - Lithium explorer Bacanora Minerals PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed banking industry veteran Jamie Strauss as a non-executive director.
Bacanora, which is working on the Sonora lithium project in Mexico, said Strauss is the founder of Strauss Partners Ltd, a mining finance and advisory boutique, and previously worked for the likes of BMO Capital Markets, the investment banking arm of Canada's Bank of Montreal, and investment manager Hargreave Hale Ltd.
Strauss also sits on the boards of Canada-listed miner Altius Minerals Corp and Gold Standard Ventures, a Nevada, US-focused gold explorer.
Shares in Bacanora were up 0.7% to 83.60 pence on Tuesday.
