LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering support services company Babcock International Group PLC Monday said it won't be awarded any of the tranche 2 Next Generation Estates contracts by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
In a short statement, Babcock said that a legal challenge is delaying the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, an operating arm of the Ministry of Defence in the UK, from making an announcement on the outcome of tranche 2 of the Next Generation Estates Contracts.
"Babcock has discussed the situation with the DIO and has concluded that Babcock will not be awarded any of the contracts forming part of Tranche 2," the company said.
Babcock shares were trading 1.4% lower Monday afternoon, at 1,233.00 pence.
