1st Aug 2014 07:44

LONDON (Alliance News) - Babcock International Group PLC Friday said it has secured a contract under which it will supply and support training to the Armed Forces through the Defence College Of Technical Training.

The FTSE 100-listed engineering support services group said the five-year contract is due to start in November 2014 and is expected to be worth up to GBP180 million.

The contract award is part of the first tranche of the Defence Technical Training Change Programme, which is designed to co-locate technical training for the Armed Forces in expanded facilities on the former Royal Air Force station at MOD Lyneham in Wiltshire.
