(Alliance News) - AVI Japan Opportunity Trust PLC on Thursday said it will raise additional funds through the issue of up to 13.9 million new ordinary shares at a premium to net asset value
The price at which new shares will be issued under the placing will be at a premium of 2% to the unaudited net asset value per share on the day the placing closes, which is expected to be November 7.
The proposed placing will take place through the company's broker, N+1 Singer Advisory LLP, acting as placing agent. The number of new shares to be issued under the placing will be determined by the company and N+1 Singer and will be announced on the date of admission of the new Shares.
AVI Japan Opportunity Trust shares were up 1.2% at 105.70 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
