LONDON (Alliance News) - AVI Japan Opportunity Trust PLC on Monday said it raised GBP13 million via placing of new shares.
The trust issued 12.9 million shares at 101.13 pence each pursuant to the placing.
AVI Japan Opportunity Trust shares were trading up 0.2% at 103.40p each on Monday afternoon.
Admission of the new shares to trading is expected to occur on Wednesday, after which the company will have 92.9 million shares in issue.
Nplus1 Singer Advisory LLP and Kepler Partners LLP acted as joint brokers & bookrunners to the company.
