LONDON (Alliance News) - Avation PLC said Monday that it has purchased and taken delivery of a new ATR 72 aircraft from the factory and has leased the aircraft to a new lessee.
The commercial passenger aircraft leasing company said it has leased the new ATR 72 aircraft to Taiwan airline, UNI Airways Corporation, bringing the number of new ATR 72 aircraft delivered to the Company to date to 18.
No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
"Consistent with our strategy of diversifying the customer base and geography for our leased aircraft we are pleased to announce this new client and expansion into North Asia. The client is of good credit quality and the transaction has been structured to deliver the lowest cost of finance to date," said Jeff Chatfield, chairman of Avation.
Aviation shares were Monday trading 3.33% higher at 155.00 pence per share.
