LONDON (Alliance News) - Avation PLC said Wednesday it has entered into an aircraft lease agreement with Taiwanese domestic airline, UNI Airways Corporation.
The commercial passenger aircraft leasing company said the agreements are for the lease of two new ATR 72-600 to be delivered in the third quarter of 2014 and that "the leases produce typical commercial net returns for the lease of such aircraft."
UNI Airways Corporation is the largest regional domestic airline of Taiwan.
"The awarding of this contract is a further important step along the path of the Company's strategy of portfolio expansion and diversification of the customer base. We are very pleased that UNI Airways has selected Avation PLC as lessor to supply these two new aircraft," said Avation's Executive Chairman, Jeff Chatfield.
Shares in Avation were trading 1.40% higher at 106.98 pence per share Wednesday morning.
