LONDON (Alliance News) - Avation PLC Friday said it has taken delivery of another ATR 72-600 jet from France and the aircraft has been delivered to the regional airline business of Indian carrier Air India.
The aircraft leasing company said the lease on the new jet is for an initial term of 12 years. It is the second delivered to Air India Regional.
"We are happy to fulfil this order from Air India Regional and to purchase another new ATR72 aircraft. It is pleasing to be the lead lessor in Air India Regional's fleet renewal programme," said Jeff Chatfield, Executive Chairman of Avation.
Avation shares were down 1.1% to 142.00 pence on Friday.
