LONDON (Alliance News) - Avation PLC said Wednesday that it has leased two new ATR 72-600 aircraft to Danish Air Transport AS for 12 years.
The commercial passenger aircraft leasing company said the aircraft will be delivered in Toulouse, France in September and October. No financial details of the lease agreement were disclosed.
Avation Chairman Jeff Chatfield said: "Lease payments for the aircraft are denominated in euros. Avation has secured matching euro financing for the aircraft to mitigate currency exposure. The addition of DAT is also a further step in the strategy of the company to diversify its customer portfolio."
Shares in Avation were trading 0.6% higher at 223.40 pence each on Wednesday morning.
