LONDON (Alliance News) - Commercial aircraft leasing company Avation PLC said Friday it has extended an Airbus A320 lease by further seven years to May 18, 2025, with the existing operator.
"Concurrently with entering into this lease extension we will repay the bank loan secured on the aircraft which will then be an unencumbered asset of the Company," said Executive Chairman Jeff Chatfield.
The company said no leases are due to expire before 2021 following the extension.
Shares in Avation were down 0.1% at 225.25 pence each.
