LONDON (Alliance News) - Commercial passenger aircraft leasing company Avation PLC on Monday said it has completed the acquisition of an Airbus A320-200 currently on lease to Air France.
The aircraft was acquired from another, unnamed aircraft leasing company and was made on "typical commercial terms", the company said.
"We are pleased to take ownership of this A320-200 on lease to Air France, one of the world's most prestigious airlines. The company is executing its strategy of building the portfolio, diversifying the airline customer base and the addition of this aircraft meets those criteria," said Executive Chairman Jeff Chatfield.
Avation shares were up 2.2% to 139.00 pence on Monday.
