LONDON (Alliance News) - Avation PLC said Monday it has been approved for entry into Singapore's Aircraft Leasing Scheme.
The commercial passenger aircraft leasing company said the scheme is a tax incentive for aircraft lessors with corporate headquarters in Singapore and provides members with a reduced corporate tax rate such as 10% on income accruing in or derived from within Singapore from leasing of aircraft or aircraft engines.
The scheme is administered by Singapore's Economic Development Board.
Shares in Avation were trading 5.02% higher at 125.5 pence per share Monday morning.
