LONDON (Alliance News) - Avanti Communications Group PLC said Wednesday it has won a satellite broadband contract with Zimbabwean national telecommunications firm, TelOne.
Avanti said the satellite broadband contract will see TelOne deliver broadband services to consumer, enterprise and public sector customers across the region, using Avanti's HYLAS 2 satellite.
"With significant unmet demand in terms of service availability and quality, our partnership with Avanti enables us to effectively address this need - today," said Chipo Mtasa, Managing Director at TelOne.
Shares in Avanti were trading 2.43% higher at 294.75 pence per share Wednesday afternoon.
