LONDON (Alliance News) - Avanti Communications Group PLC Monday said it had won a contract with Turkish telecommunications company ESER Telekom for delivery of a government contract in the Middle East.
Under the contract, Avanti will provide additional capacity via its HYLAS 2 satellite for ESER to deploy Ka-band services in the Middle East as part of an international connectivity programme.
"This win further demonstrates the quality and flexibility of our satellite network, meeting the needs of even the most demanding users," said Chief Executive David Williams in a statement.
No financial details were disclosed.
Shares in Avanti were trading up 1.9% at 250.70 pence Monday.
