LONDON (Alliance News) - Satellite communications company Avanti Communications Group PLC on Friday said it has secured its first pre-launch contract for capacity on its HYLAS 4 satellite.
Avanti will supply existing customer Bentley Walker with capacity on the satellite on a deal worth in excess of USD1.0 million, it said.
HYLAS 4 remains on track to launch in the first quarter of 2017.
"We are seeing strong customer interest in HYLAS 4 as we count down to its launch in a year from now, from both new and existing customers. Bentley Walker is one of our key partners, renowned for its dedication to delivering the best possible services and opening new markets," said Avanti Chief Executive David Williams.
