LONDON (Alliance News) - Avacta Group PLC on Monday said it has appointed Sam Williams as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
The biotechnology company said Williams is currently head of life sciences at investment firm IP Group PLC.
"I am delighted Williams is joining Avacta and very much look forward to working with him. Sam has extensive experience of the biotech industry both as an investor and operator which he will bring to the board," said Chair Eliot Forster.
Avacta shares were trading 3% higher on Monday at 45.85 pence each.
