LONDON (Alliance News) - Human and animal healthcare company Avacta Group PLC Wednesday said its new canine lymphoma blood test was now available to veterinary practices in the UK.
In a statement, the company said it is now seeking commercial partners in global markets.
"This is the first of many new tests that will be made available to vets through our reference laboratory and test kits, and on our in-clinic analyser Sensipod in the next year or so," Chief Executive Alastair Smith said in a statement.
The company claims the new test can detect lymphoma up to eight weeks before the physical symptoms of swollen lymph nodes become easily detectable by palpation.
Avacta shares were down 0.5% at 0.92 pence Wednesday morning.
