LONDON (Alliance News) - Biotherapeutics company Avacta Group PLC Thursday said it has appointed Tony Gardiner as its chief financial officer, to join the company from January 4.
Chief Operating Officer Craig Slater will serve as interim chief financial officer until Gardiner joins, as part-time chief financial officer Tim Sykes will step down to pursue other business interests from Thursday.
Gardiner joins Avacta from architecture and building consultancy practice AHR, where he has been finance director since 2011.
Shares in Avacta were down 0.2% at 1.34 pence Thursday morning.
