LONDON (Alliance News) - Aurora Investment Trust PLC said Monday it intends to raise GBP2 million through the placing of shares.
Shares in Aurora were down 0.9% at 217.99p per share on Monday afternoon.
The trust has instigated an intermediaries offer and will be placing the shares at a 1.25% premium to net asset value per share on Wednesday next week. Aurora had an NAV per share of 205.72p on December 31, 2017.
"The issue has been proposed by the directors to increase the size of the company and in turn give it a larger equity base over which to spread fixed costs while also improving the liquidity and marketability of the ordinary shares," Aurora Investment Trust said.
Dickson Minto WS and Liberum Capital Ltd will conduct the placing.
