(Alliance News) - Aurora Investment Trust PLC on Monday announced the appointments of Rachael Robathan and Lucy Walker as non-executive directors, effective immediately.
The company also announced the current audit committee Chair Richard Martin has stepped down, and Steve Tatters has left as a director.
Chair Howard Flight said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Steve and Richard for the their respective contributions."
Robathan has been appointed Martin's replacement. She is currently on the board of the National Lottery Community Fund and is a member of its remuneration committee.
She is also a director of Westminster Almshouses Foundation, a sheltered housing charity.
Lucy Walker is a senior associate partner of asset management company Sarasin & Partners LLP. She sits as an independent member on the audit & risk committee for SportsAid and has previously worked in the multi-manager team at HSBC Global Asset Management.
Flight commented: "We are delighted Rachael and Lucy have agreed to join the board. They both have a wealth of experience within the investment industry and their combined knowledge and extensive experience will enhance the board's own qualities."
Shares in UK-based Aurora closed 0.8% higher at 220.82 pence on Monday in London.
