LONDON (Alliance News) - Aureus Mining Inc. Thursday said that an application has been made to AIM for the admission of 30.9 million shares, an offering of USD16 million.
The gold-mining company, with operations in Liberia and Cameroon, said it anticipates the admission to occur at 2.30pm Thursday following the formal closing of the offering.
The company said that the net proceeds of the offering will be used to advance focused exploration activities within the company's Bea Mountain Mining License, involving follow up drilling campaigns at Weaju and Ndablama gold targets, and for general corporate purposes.
Aureus Mining shares were down 0.4% to 30.00 pence in early trading Thursday.
