LONDON (Alliance News) - Aukett Swanke Group PLC said Thursday its revision to the masterplan for Green Park in Reading has increased the site density by 20%.
The architecture and interior design firm said it was appointed by real estate investor Oxford Properties Group to revise and refresh the 2.3 million square feet masterplan and consented outline planning application for Green Park in Reading.
The original masterplan for the business park off the M4 Motorway had been designed by architecture firm Foster + Partners, which was involved in projects including London's Millennium Bridge and Wembley Stadium.
Aukett said it had increased the site density by 500,000 square feet.
"Unanimously endorsed by three councils, this is a major step forward for future development to accommodate growth potential in the Reading and Thames Valley region," Aukett said.
Shares in Aukett were untraded on Thursday, having last traded at 6.25 pence.
