Aukett Swanke Expects To Meet Expectations, Approves Final Dividend

11th Nov 2014 09:55

LONDON (Alliance News) - Architecture and interior design company Aukett Swanke Group PLC on Tuesday said it expects to meet its expectations for the year after it traded profitably in the second half.

The company said its UK performance in the second half of its financial year, ending September 30, was improved, though this was offset by increases in salary costs and rises in integration and property expenses.

It said it traded profitably in Germany, the Middle East and Turkey, but said its losses in Russia widened in the second half. It expects the Russia business to break even in the coming year on the back of the co-location of its Moscow office, staff cuts and more focused management of the business.

The group also said it has approved the payment of a 0.11 pence per share dividend for the second half of the year, bringing its total dividend for the full year to 0.21 pence per share.

Shares in the company were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 7.75 pence.
