LONDON (Alliance News) - Auhua Clean Energy PLC Thursday said it has partnered with Lyles School of Civil Engineering, Purdue University, Indiana, US, in order to optimise the solar thermal panel design of its subsidiary, Taiwan Ziolar Technology.
In a statement the environmental technology group said that Purdue University will work with Taiwan Ziolar to further develop its advanced composite material and proprietary coating technologies.
The aims of the partnership include system efficiency, structural strength, safety, durability, building lighting, and thermal management, and advancing the building integrated solar thermal applications of the design, Auhua said. All technology developed under the joint development agreement will belong exclusively to Auhua.
"Our acquisition of Ziolar has helped Auhua build its international presence and expand overseas. Property developers are constantly seeking solar technologies that integrate more seamlessly and aesthetically into building design from the outset," Chairman David Sumner said in a statement.
"This agreement, which focuses on exactly that, puts us in an even stronger position to continue to attract global partnerships with property developers. We are committed to advancing our competitive advantage in thermal solar globally. Partnering with one of the best regarded engineering schools in the world, Purdue University, helps us to achieve these goals," Sumner said.
Auhua Clean Energy shares were Thursday untraded at 29.50 pence.
