LONDON (Alliance News) - Waste management firm Augean PLC on Tuesday said it has bought a new site in Great Yarmouth to support a new contract won by its North Sea Services business.
Augean recently secured a deal to provide production waste management and onshore industrial services to an unnamed oil and gas operator.
Linked to this, the company has bought freehold land and assets in Great Yarmouth which will allow the company to supplement services already provided to customers in the North Sea, which will continue to be delivered from its Aberdeen site.
The new site has been purchased for GBP500,000 from an unnamed waste management company and already holds the relevant planning and environmental permits, Augean said.
Augean shares were up 1.8% to 42.99 pence.
