LONDON (Alliance News) - Audioboom Group PLC on Friday said it has signed a partnership with US-based live radio content streaming platform Nobex Technologies Inc.
Under the deal, Audioboom will integrate its platform into the Nobex app to make on-demand and listen-again audio content available to Nobex mobile subscribers.
Audioboom did not provide financial details on the deal, but said it will pay Nobel a referral fee for every radio station which opens an Audioboom account to create the on-demand functionality and will receive all revenue until the referral fee is recouped.
The deal comes a day after Audioboom said it had signed a partnership to enter the African market with African mobile content aggregator Cloud Africa.
"We are delighted with this new partnership with Nobex and look forward to working with the company closely to ensure that we are able to provide thousands of radio stations with our functionality and content," said Audioboom Chief Executive Officer Rob Proctor.
"We hope this is the first of many partnerships in the US and globally that will not only strengthen the AudioBoom brand and proposition, but also that of our partners and their digital and advertising solutions," Proctor added.
