LONDON (Alliance News) - Audioboom Group PLC on Friday said it has signed three commercial deals with an international advertising sales network to expand globally and exploit "new revenue generating opportunities".
The first agreement is with The Podcast Exchange in Canada and makes Audioboom the first podcast platform to partner with this network. The Podcast Exchange was launched in February and does not make or sell its own content.
The second deal is with Placard Media and connects advertisers from the Australian and New Zealand markets with engaged podcast listeners, Audioboom said. Under the contract, Placard will sell Host Endorsements and Live Reads on Audioboom's podcast inventory.
Thirdly, Audioboom will partner with programmatic advertising platform firm DAX, which will provide advertisers an access to an audience of 160 million people in the UK, US, France, and Germany. Dax and Audiobook have already worked together for 12 months.
"These worldwide agreements with leading networks and media sales agencies will extend the reach and commercialisation of Audioboom podcasts through programmatic and in-read advertising, and further increases our revenue generating capabilities," said Audioboom's Chief Executive Rob Proctor.
Shares in Audioboom were trading flat at 2.38 pence each on Friday.
