LONDON (Alliance News) - Audioboom Group PLC saw its shares rise early Monday, after it said trading in March was strong as it signed up additional content partners, secured more registered users and mobile app downloads proved robust.
Audioboom said it had more than 2,400 active content partners by the end of March, up by more than 150 in the month. Its total content partner base is 4,000, with the 2,400 active partners those who have posted content within the last week.
The group said it had more than 3.6 million registered users at the end of March, with more than 200,000 added in March, the highest the company has added in a single month.
In addition, it said it saw 244,000 mobile app installations in March, split broadly evenly between iOS and Android platforms. The 244,000 downloads are nearly half of the total mobile app installs the company has seen to date.
"The key performance indicators show the progress we have made in a short period of time, with March being comfortably our best month since launch. There has also been a multiple increase in "follows" on the app which is particularly exciting as it indicates user engagement and the developing relationship that users have with Audioboom," said Rob Proctor, Audioboom's Chief Executive.
Audioboom shares were up 9% to 8.175 pence on Monday morning, one of the best performers in the London Main Market.
