(Alliance News) - Audioboom Group PLC on Friday said it has extended its partnership with Formula 1 and inked new agreements for the expansion of its podcast network.
The podcast firm stated it has extended its co-production partnership with Formula 1 until 2023, adding that its in-house production unit will continue to produce the 'F1: Beyond The Grid' podcast, and will expand their work to include the production of 'F1 Nation'.
In addition to co-producing the podcasts, Audioboom will also provide exclusive advertising sales, technology and distribution.
Separately, the Jersey-based company which also has offices in London, New York and Mumbai said it has signed a new commercial agreement with sports podcast The Fantasy Footballers. Under the agreement, Audioboom will provide exclusive advertising sales and marketing support to the podcast until 2022.
Audioboom also said it has launched RELAX!, an Audioboom original podcast featuring YouTuber Colleen Ballinger.
"We continue to execute our growth strategy, scaling our content operation on top of our technology and revenue platform. Our latest content partnerships highlight our core business strengths; high quality podcast production; creative talent development; and market-leading monetisation," said Chief Executive Stuart Last.
Shares in Audioboom were trading 7.1% higher at 281.00 pence each on Friday morning in London.
